ACSME

For more than 25 years the Australian Conference on Science and Mathematics Education (ACSME) has provided a forum for educators interested in advancing teaching and learning in science and mathematics education. Originally called the UniServe Science Conference, it encompasses biological sciences, geosciences, chemistry, health sciences, information technology, learning and cognitive sciences, mathematics and statistics, molecular and microbial sciences, physics and psychology as well as the various fields of the applied sciences.

ACDS Learning and Teaching Leaders Conference

The ACDS holds an annual conference for associate deans (Teaching & Learning) and other leaders in science education.  The conference objectives aim to build capability for teaching and learning leadership in Faculties of Science; to identify key issues for teaching and learning including possible priorities and actions for the ACDS TL Centre and its members; and to provide consensus advice to the Deans of Science on national issues in teaching and learning. 

The 2022 conference was held at the Australian National University.

ACDS Webinar series

Commencing in 2020 the ACDS has introduced a series of Science Education Leadership Webinars to engage science and mathematics educators in the discussion of current topics of interest.
