Rationale

These videos are traditional lecture substitutes that can be used in an online environment. Information is presented verbally, with three visual channels featuring the lecturer, PowerPoint slides, and a written notepad setup.

How is the resource used

These videos may comprise all of the content exposition for a higher year classical mechanics course. Tutorial and quiz questions may be used to supplement the lecture material. Note Lecture 1 Part 1 is not included in the playlist as it relates to course administration.

Student evaluation

This resource has been used with students in a second year undergraduate physics course at the University of New South Wales in 2020 and updated in 2021. With an enrollment of approximately 70 students per year, the resource has been very well received by students.
