ACDS submission to the National Skills Passport

The ACDS has made a submission to the Departments of Employment and Workplace Relations and Education on the National Skills Passport consultation paper.

The ACDS supports the concept and advocates for an architecture and data integrity that provides a single source of truth.  To be effective the National Skills Passport should assist university graduates to present and articulate their qualifications as well as skills and expertise to industry and the broader community, and conversely should assist business and employers in understanding the myriad of qualifications and pathways to learning.  As a minimum the National Skills Passport should aim to be a single source of truth for verification of credentialed learning completed within Australia.

The ACDS also commends the detailed submission made by the Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (DASH). You can view the submission made by DASH to the National Skills Passport consultation here.
