First Year workshops – presentations available

The ACDS TL Centre ran two workshops, one in Melbourne and one in Sydney, in early February for first year co-ordinators and leaders interested in exploring the big issues for first year teaching and building a cross-disciplinary support group for first year leaders.

The workshops attracted 43 registrants in Melbourne and 58 registrations in Sydney from 30 different universities with many universities sending multiple participants. Sixty-one of the registrants completed a pre-workshop survey to gather background information on roles in first year science and mathematics in Faculties.
